Ridiculous

The other day my three year-old niece was riding in my car with me. We were teasing each other and I told her she was ridiculous. She laughed and told me that was a funny word. I told her she should tell her uncle he is ridiculous. She got quiet for a second, then asked me if ridiculous was a bad word. I assured her it wasn't. I think she might use it some time.
Is this the time I teach her the bad words her mom taught me?
