Hellloooo!?
Last weekend I visited my sister who lives 4 long dreadful hours away from me. *grunt moan* Mom and my niece Laine came along. Half-way there we met my dad for supper He's a truck driver that happened to be crossing the same path. We honestly would have passed each other on the road had he not stopped.
The beauty of mobile phones make things like this possible. However, they also make us dependent upon them...
We walked into this truck stop looking for Dad. He told us he would get a table and order so he could get on the road ASAP.(he didn't really say A-SAP) This restaurant was small but had a big open space by the buffet, which is where we stood looking. It was obvious Dad was no where to be found. As Mom held my Laine's hand she asked her if we should call Grandpa. At that point Mom reached in her purse to retrieve her phone, however, Laine took care of things quicker. She screamed, "GRANDPA!!!" As we ran for cover we literally ran into my dad. Problem solved.
Ya see, my niece is three. She sees things in such a simple way.

As clever as she is, she probably knew very well that you guys would think one thing while she did the other.
But, still, gotta love the way kids process things.

You're right. I'm sure she did, but wanted to do things her way.
